Meet your hosts
Our love affair with Buchan has been a long one. Kirstie grew up 20 minutes north of Buchan and it has always been a place that we have returned to over and over with our children.
In 2012 we purchased Grandview Sanctuary after a series of synchronistic events which saw us hosting campers on our property. This expanded in 2022 with the purchase of Cambria Cottage, ironically the home of Reggie Gentle, Kirstie's father's best mate. A further expansion has seen us take up the lease on the Buchan Motel.
We have loved camping and finding peaceful locations from the day we met, whether it was on mountain bikes in Spain, motorbikes in the outback or in the high country in our Troopy.
We have the belief that our little piece of paradise is to be shared. We love where we live and in opening up our properties and our hearts to guests, is our way of sharing the beauty of Buchan and the surrounding valleys and wilderness.
Further expansion has seen the incorporation of wellness programs (workshops and retreats). Being in nature is healing within itself and Kirstie's interest in wellness in all forms has seen the addition of wellness @ Grandview. These services can be booked directly with Kirstie by clicking below:
